ReportOUT, is delighted that the petition for a public inquiry into Section 28 has surpassed the 10,000 signatures which means the Government has to respond. ReportOUT is a member of the Section 28 Justice Coalition which has launched the petition and campaign.

ReportOUT and the Section 28 Justice Coalition are proud to partner together to fight against censorship of LGBTQ+ people and highlight the awful impact of Section 28. Our organisations share the belief that LGBTQ+ people deserve to live their lives as themselves and we stand against all attempts to withhold or take away rights from LGBTQ+ people across the world.

ReportOUT in partnership with LGBTQ+ charity OUT North East, in partnership and Pride Action North, are to host an essential #SaferToBeMe mini-conference on Friday 6th November 2026, for organisations who strive to support the LGBTQIA+ youth of the UK.

ReportOUT is open for a new Trustee Chair to help lead the charity in momentously challenging times for LGBTQ+ human rights. As a global human rights charity never have so many people relied on our services and expertise.

#SaferToBeMe UK’s First Global LGBTQ+ Human Rights Summit to Counter Populism and Roll-back of Rights
