About the session
This plenary session will facilitate a discursive and interactive space, drawing on the themes and issues raised throughout the day, sharing participants' experiences and current challenges, and asking the question... So, what do we do now?
About the speaker
Rhoda Morrow (she/her) is Development Manager and Counsellor at Gladstone Terrace Centre for Young People and Lead Youth Worker for PLUS (People Like Us) in Gateshead. She has worked with young people for 20 years, drawing on her experience as part of the queer community to develop safe spaces and specialist therapeutic services for LGBTQIA+ young people.
Rachel Robson (she/they) is Service Manager at Pride Action North, a leading LGBTQIA+ charity staffed by people with lived experience and providing a range of services for young people and adults across the north east. They have nearly thirty years of experience in supporting young people in community, youth and education settings.
Rachel and Rhoda co-chair the Pride Youth Partnership, a network of organisations working in solidarity to support and protect LGBTQIA+ young people in the Northeast of England
